A blend of Štanjel’s architectural features and a typical Karst snack, commonly known as marenda.
Discover the architectural beauty of Štanjel with a local guide and taste typical Karst delicacies at the end of the tour!
Stroll through the narrow stone alleys and admire the main attractions of this pearl of the Karst: the Church of St Daniel, one of the key monuments of Gothic architecture in the Karst, with its distinctive lemon-shaped bell tower, the Roman Karst House with its ethnological collection and the famous Ferrari Garden, which was put on the European map of architectural excellence by the architect and urban planner Dr Maks Fabiani in the 1920s and 1930s as part of the renovation of Villa Ferrari. At the end of the guided tour, experience the Karst with a glass of Teran and homemade prosciutto at the Grajžarjeva marenda snack bar.
