What’s included?

  • A visit to the medieval village Štanjel and its castle, which was given its Baroque-Renaissance image that is seen today by the Counts of Cobenzl. Find more information here.
  • A visit to the Lojze Spacal Gallery which is found in the Karst’s biggest castle complex.
  • A visit to the Church of St Daniel, featuring a typical Gothic bell tower, one of the most characteristic elements of Štanjel.
  • A walk to the Karst House, one of the oldest houses in the settlement (a visit of the ethnological collection in the Karst house is additional 1,30 €).
  • A visit to the Ferrari Garden, the work of the architect Maks Fabiani and one of the most beautiful parks in Slovenia, dating back to the period between the two world wars.
