Embark on a wine and culinary journey with the winemakers of the Consortium of Karst Teran Producers, enjoying hand-cut Karst prosciutto, selected cheeses and culinary creations from the Grad Štanjel Restaurant & Lounge Bar.
As part of the 53rd Teran and Prosciutto Festival, the castle courtyard in the picturesque Štanjel will host, on Wednesday, 6 August, starting at 19.00, 22 winemakers, members of the Consortium of Karst Teran Producers. Guests will have a unique opportunity to taste Teran in all its nuances – from fresh interpretations to mature and aged masterpieces.
Guests will also have the chance to sample the superb Karst prosciutto produced by the Oštir farm in Voglje, the delicious goat cheeses crafted by the Žerjal farm in Tomaj, and the exquisite cuisine of the Grad Štanjel Restaurant & Lounge Bar, which has been carefully designed to complement the selected wines.

Guided tour of the Museum of Slovenian Language and Books
At 6 p.m., as part of the event, there will be a guided tour with an animator of the new Museum of Slovenian Language and Books at Štanjel Castle.
Price for the tour as part of the event: €5.00/person

The guided tour will be given in Slovenian. The tour will take place with a sufficient number of registrations.
