Walk along the alleyways of the medieval village of Štanjel and look at the Christmas nativity scenes mounted on window sills and doorsteps, in courtyards and on walls.
Štanjel is attractive any time of the year, but the pre-holiday lights and atmosphere of expectation add genuine charm to this medieval village.
Christmas nativity scenes prepared by the villagers will be exhibited on the streets of medieval Štanjel from 17 December 2023 up until 7 January 2024.
