Meta Fajdiga studied piano under the world-renowned pianist and professor Konstantin Scherbakov at the Zurich University of the Arts. She completed two master’s degrees and a specialisation in piano performance. She has performed on stages across Slovenia, Italy, Slovakia, France, and Switzerland. With the Symphony Orchestra of the Ljubljana Academy of Music, she performed Liszt’s Totentanz for piano and orchestra twice, earning the Academy’s Prešeren Award. As a soloist, she has appeared with the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, Jena Philharmonic Orchestra, Alumni Symphony Orchestra, Mitteleuropa Symphony Orchestra, and the St Moritz Salon Orchestra. She has won multiple prizes at competitions for young Slovenian musicians and ballet dancers (TEMSIG) as well as at international competitions across Europe. Meta Fajdiga’s studies have been supported by various institutions, including Krka and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia.
