The space next to the pavilion, which once provided shade for an underground ice pit, seems like a natural amphitheatre, overlooked by the terraces of a masterfully designed garden. The pavilion offers magnificent views of the surrounding Karst landscape and the Vipava Valley, as well as the Church of St Gregory, where Maks Fabiani, the creator of the famous garden in Štanjel, is buried. This varied, open space is ideal for a variety of banquets, both business and private.
