The ancient tower at the top of Štanjel's Turn Hill is called Gledanica by the locals. About three millennia ago, this place was the acropolis of Štanjel – the upper “town” of the Štanjel prehistoric hillfort. Today we understand why. Not only does it offer exceptional views of the Karst landscape, the Trnovo Plateau and Mt Nanos, but the energy of this place also provides ideal conditions for a relaxed banquet or the conclusion of a formal part of a business meeting.
