The Square Tower was once used as a castle chapel, but today it hosts a permanent exhibition on the life and work of the architect Maks Fabiani. The tower’s top floor was refurbished to become a seminar hall which, with its flexible seating arrangement, can be used for various purposes. The hall is named after the linguist, Slavic studies scholar, publicist, ethnologist, folklorist, university professor and collector Karel Štrekelj.
