The modernly equipped Krištof Hall is named after the first member of the noble Kobencl family who came to Štanjel, after the family had received it as a fief from the Habsburgs. Located on the first floor of the castle, the hall is suitable for smaller business and social events, lectures, literary evenings, and other occasions that require a more intimate atmosphere. Through the castle windows, the hall offers a beautiful view of the village of Štanjel and its surroundings, providing a different backdrop in every season.
Entry to the hall is from the castle courtyard via the Visitor Centre or from the Upper Palatium.
